Our Conformance Target: WCAG 2.1 Level AA
AiWitness is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
What We Do
Keyboard Navigation
All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard. We provide skip navigation links to bypass repetitive content.
Screen Reader Support
Pages use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, roles, and live regions so screen readers can convey page structure and dynamic content changes.
Focus Indicators
Visible focus styles (2px solid blue outline) are applied to all interactive elements so keyboard users always know where focus is.
Color Contrast
Text and interactive UI elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
Form Accessibility
All form inputs have associated labels, required fields are indicated, and error messages are programmatically associated with their fields.
Alternative Text
Meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked so assistive technologies skip them.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some areas are still being improved:
- Interactive heat maps may have limited screen reader support; we are working on a text-based alternative view.
- Some third-party embedded content may not fully meet our accessibility standards.
- Live video recording UI may present challenges for users with certain motor disabilities — we are exploring alternatives.
